A nonprofit access-to-justice initiative
Walk in prepared.
Plain-language help for parents facing family court without a lawyer, so cases turn on the merits and the child's best interest, not on who can afford representation.
The problem is not merit. It is access.
In family court, self-representation is the norm rather than the exception, and roughly two-thirds of all civil litigants appear without a lawyer. People who are in the right routinely lose, not on the facts, but because the system is nearly impossible to navigate alone and legal help is priced out of reach.
The missing ingredients are access and know-how. Those are things software can actually deliver.
How Jethro Justice helps
Understand the process
Plain-language guides that explain how the law and the courts actually work, by stage of a case.
TwoGet organized
The organizer turns what you know about your case into a timeline, your deadlines, and a packet you own.
ThreeBuild your binder
Which documents the court asks for, which ones you are still missing, and how to get each one.
FourGet connected
When something needs legal judgment, we say so and point you to licensed attorneys and legal aid.
The organizer
Answer a short set of questions and leave with a case packet you own: who is who, a dated timeline, your deadlines, an index of your documents and what is missing, a discovery tracker, and an exhibit and witness list, plus a clear list of the things that need a licensed attorney.
There is no account and no sign-up. Your answers are saved on this device.
Built by someone who has been in your shoes
When another driver totaled my car and every attorney turned the case down, I learned the hard truth that self-represented people know: if you cannot afford representation, you are on your own. So I learned the process, documented everything, argued my own case at trial, and won every dollar.
The system is navigable. But no one should have to figure it out alone. For a parent in family court the stakes are not dollars. They are your children. Jethro Justice exists so the next parent walks in prepared.

What we are, and what we are not. Jethro Justice is a nonprofit that provides legal information and education. We are not a law firm and we do not practice law. We do not give advice about your specific case, and we do not represent anyone in court. When you need those things, we help you find a licensed attorney. Find a lawyer or legal aid →
